November 11, 2024. There was a power outage in Tok, Tanacross, Tetlin, Northway, and Dot Lake. We don’t know why there was a power outage but it did affect the people in the area, like me. I was at Fast Eddys making pizza then the power went out, but a few of us still worked because the pizza oven still worked.
Mr Becker says that it was aliens that turned off the power.
Maycie Weisenbach was sad that the power went out because she said her phone was about to die. She screamed and lit candles after the power went out. After the power turned on she clapped and plugged in her phone.
Lucas Hipp was affected by the power outage because he was in the shower. He was scared that the power went out because he thought we were being attacked. After the power went out he got out of the shower and went to bed.
Erika Burnham was putting her “small humans” away and then the power went out. She then lit candles and put flashlights and lanterns around. She called her family to see if it was just her. After the power turned on she was somewhat happy.
