High School Volleyball Conference Game

On the night November 12th, 2024 the Tok High School volleyball team had a conference game against Glennallen. The team unfortunately lost with the final game score of 17 to 25. Our team won one game out of four. Freshmen, Emma Coulman, Jadyn Kramer and Sophomore Skyla Frank-Young were up to the task of answering questions about the game.

Jabyn was up first explaining what they could have done differently to win the game, “dive more and move our feet.” Then she added how she thought she did in the game, “I think I did good, but I think I should have dived more, and my serves were good.” Last but not least she talked about how it felt to lose, “I feel like we did really good but we could have done better.”

Emma was next to talk about what they could have done differently, “set it up more and hit it downwards.” She also expressed how she thought she did, “I think I did pretty good but I could have helped the back row more.” Lastly, she talked about how it felt to lose, “I feel like we did really good but we could have done better.”

Skylas was last to talk about what the team could have done differently to win, “Move their feet!” Next she explained how she thought she did in the game, “I think I did pretty good but I think I just needed to call the ball more and practice on my serves because they keep going out. “ She last added how it felt to lose, “I'm pretty used to it, it is what it is, and hope to win the next one.“

Our team played their absolute hardest and were super close to winning the game. Their next and last game is regionals so hopefully they can pull out a last minute win for the end of the volleyball season. Good luck Wolverines!
