The Tok School talent show took place on May 9th! There were two different categories for artists and performers. For the performance category, Max Flagen won first with his drum performance, Landon Wilson won second with a guitar solo, and third place was a gymnastics routine. For the art category, Rebekah Ames won first, Rachel Ames was second, and Jeffry Alsup got third with his mushroom art piece.
Rachel Ames, the runner-up of the art category, stated, “I was excited, I guess. It was cool that I got second out of four people.”
Jeffry Alsup, the third place winner of the art category, stated, “I was so excited because I got prize money and it was so much fun watching all the performance at the talent show.”
Ben Jennings, a performer who sang "Peaches," said, “I feel like I did great and was pretty good. I was really embarrassed, but I had fun while doing it.”
Overall, the talent was exceptional and all the performers seemed to have a great time. All of the winners were happy with their prizes and the community can't wait for next years Talent Show!
